Three Lashkar terrorists involved in killing Kashmiri Hindu businessman’s salesman arrested: Militancy in Kashmir.

Police on Tuesday arrested three terrorists involved in the murder of a salesman working at the shop of Kashmiri Hindu businessman Dr. Sandeep Mawa.

All three are terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba’s hit squad The Resistance Front (TRF). Incriminating material including a pistol, seven cartridges, and a grenade used in the murder has been recovered.

The police have also seized the Alto car from which the three terrorists fled after the attack.

All three were in touch with the handlers sitting in Ghulam Kashmir and Pakistan through internet media for the last four months.

As part of a conspiracy to target minorities in Kashmir, the terrorists had attempted to kill Dr. Sandeep in Srinagar’s downtown on November 8 last, but he left his shop in the afternoon.

In the evening, when his salesman Mohammad Ibrahim Ahmed started starting his car, the terrorists mistook him for Dr. Sandeep and shot him. Mohammad Ibrahim died on the spot in the attack.

Based on the clues received from the spot, the police launched a search operation to nab the terrorists involved in the murder.

Through continuous monitoring of the movements of all suspicious elements and electronic surveillance, the police had detained three suspected youths from Pulwama last week.

Ejaz Ahmed Lone, Naseer Ahmed Shah, and Shaukat Ahmed Dar, three are residents of Lalhar village.

During interrogation, all three confessed their crime and told that they had attempted to kill Dr. Sandeep Mawa at the behest of their handler sitting in Pakistan, but Mohammad Ibrahim was killed in this.
