Three Pakistani Terrorists Killed In Kashmir In 33 Days

Three Pakistani terrorists were killed in Kashmir in 33 days, Saifullah had a reward of 10 lakhs.

Security forces have dealt a big blow to Lashkar-e-Taiba by foiling a major conspiracy to carry out suicide attacks in Srinagar.

A reward of 10 lakh was announced on the infamous Pakistani terrorist Saifullah of Lashkar, who was killed in an encounter in the Harwan area on Sunday.

An assault rifle and other paraphernalia were also recovered from the slain terrorist.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that in the last 33 days, security forces have killed three Pakistani terrorists in various encounters.

A Pakistani terrorist was also among the two terrorists killed in the encounter on December 13 in Rangreth.

Before that, on November 16, a Pakistani terrorist was also killed in an encounter in Hyderpora.

He said that Pakistan is engaged in every possible conspiracy to spoil the situation here, to maintain an atmosphere of violence.

Let us tell you that on Sunday, Abu Saifullah alias Abu Khalid alias Shahbaz came to his contact’s house late Saturday night in Theed-Harwan, about 20 km from Lal Chowk.

The police came to know about it at the same time. After some time, the police along with the army and CRPF personnel surrounded the terrorist hideout.

Surrounding him from all sides, the terrorist was asked to surrender, but he tried to escape by firing.

The security forces took quick action and surrounded him again. During this, the security forces took many people to a safe place from the house built as a terrorist hideout and the adjoining houses.

The encounter that started at 4 amended with the killing of Saifullah two hours later. The house, which became a terrorist hideout, was damaged.

An assault rifle, three magazines, and a grenade were seized from him. Meanwhile, Firoz Ahmed Zargar alias Kamran, a Lashkar bounty terrorist, was arrested in Anantnag, South Kashmir. He is under interrogation.

Saifullah was engaged in the recruitment of new boys:

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that Saifullah was engaged in the recruitment and training of new boys.

He was looking for an opportunity to plan a major suicide attack in Srinagar and its adjoining areas.

The death of Saifullah, who has been active in Kashmir for the last five years, is a big blow to Lashkar.

We were following Saifullah for several days. He was constantly changing his whereabouts so he was escaping.

Kashmir had reached five years ago via Bandipora:

Saifullah had managed to infiltrate into Kashmir through Gurez (Bandipora) in the year 2016.

After being active in North Kashmir for some time, he had built a new base at Harwan on the behest of his masters sitting in POK.

He was carrying out terrorist activities in Ganderbal, Harwan, Srinagar, Tral, and Awantipora. He was also involved in the attack on the police squad at Gulshan Chowk in Bandipora last week.

Two policemen were martyred in the attack.

Saifullah was involved in the murder of BJP leader Wasim Bari along with his father and brother in Bandipora on July 8, 2020, besides an attack on security forces in Lavepora, Srinagar.

Two security personnel had received the sacrifice. The terrorists also took away the rifle of a sacrificed security guard.

He was involved in the terrorist attack on an army convoy at Bemina Bypass Srinagar on 1st April 2017. Three army personnel were injured.

It was the responsibility of bringing the infiltrators to the LoC:

Pakistani terrorist Saifullah alias Abu Khalid used to make new boys terrorists through his overground workers in different parts of the Kashmir Valley.

He used to identify some of these boys and also trained them to use weapons themselves.

He used to train local boys who turned into terrorists to use weapons for three to four days in the forests located in the upper parts of Bandipora and Harwan. He was also an expert in making IEDs.

He also had the responsibility of getting the terrorists who infiltrated from the POK side in North Kashmir safely to the interior areas of the Valley from the LoC.

Kamran caught in Anantnag: In Anantnag of South Kashmir, security forces arrested Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Firoz Ahmed Zargar alias Kamran on specific information.

Firoz Ahmed of Koyamu Kulgam had become active as a terrorist in Lashkar on June 7. Earlier he worked as an overground worker for Lashkar.

His brother Majid Zargar alias Talha was killed in an encounter in Arwani in the year 2017.

Majid was the divisional commander of Lashkar and was one of the toughest terrorists operating in South Kashmir. Firoz was listed in category C terrorists and had a reward of three lakhs on him.
