Three Traders Were Injured In Vegetable Market Of Rasipuram
Three traders were injured in the vegetable market of Rasipuram in Tamil Nadu. The roof of the Rasipuram vegetable market collapsed and 3 people were injured.
Three traders were injured when the daily market additional roof collapsed due to heavy rains overnight in Rasipuram, Namakkal district.
Namakkal District, Rasipuram Municipal Daily Vegetable Market More than 120 people have been trading for over 40 years.
The customs duty is being paid to the municipality. For the merchants, shops were set up on behalf of the municipal administration.
Merchants come to the shops at 4 a.m. and engage in business. They return home at 10 o’clock at night. The market is always crowded in the morning as it is a daily market.
In this condition, it rained in the Rasipuram area at midnight yesterday.
Due to this rain, the roof of the daily market completely shifted and collapsed. The poles also tilted.
Of these, 3 were injured. The casualty was averted as it fell at midnight. Then the power supply was cut off and the roof was removed.
According to traders, the steel pipes that have been installed on the roof of the daily market are already in a dilapidated condition.
Despite repeated calls to the municipality, no action has been taken. It was at this point that the roof shifted and collapsed.
