The Traffic Quality Index (TQI) gives a better report of traffic conditions, with Bangalore being depicted as a highly congested city, with scores between 800 and 1,000.
According to the report, Mumbai is the second most congested city after Bangalore with a score of 787, while Delhi and Hyderabad are behind with scores of 747 and 718. According to the report, Silk Board Junction, one of the most congested areas in Bangalore, has seen a reduction in traffic jams after the opening of a double-decker flyover in July. According to data from Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-East) Kuldeep Kumar Jain, traffic jams at Silk Board have been reduced by at least 50 percent.
Before the inauguration of the flyover, the area experienced an average of 24 daily congestion alerts, which were reduced to 15 within a month. Additionally, the average length of traffic queues at the junction has reduced from 19 km to 10 km, bringing great relief to passengers.
DTC Bus: DTC bus route changed on many routes of Delhi, passengers can get updates on just one call
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has changed bus route number 174B running from Sarai Kale Khan, ISBT to Jaunti Shivalaya on an experimental basis. DTC Manager Public Relations Rakesh Kumar said that the change has been made on this route as an experiment for the time being.

Under this, bus route number 174B between Sarai Kale Khan ISBT to Jaunti Shivalaya has now been changed on an experimental basis from 7 October 2024. Under this, the bus will run from Sarai Kale Khan, ISBT to Road Bridge, Railway Bridge Ring Road, ITO Ring Road, Rajghat, Vijay Ghat / Geeta Colony Bridge.
