Winter Clothes Being Purchased For Soldiers In Ladakh
Winter clothes being purchased from the US and Europe for soldiers in Ladakh. A large number of personnel have to be deployed there in eastern Ladakh amid tension with China over the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
In such a situation, India is buying warm clothes from the countries of America and Europe to protect its soldiers from the freezing winter. During the winter season, the Pangong Lake in Ladakh and other areas have a temperature of below 25 degrees.
Indian jawans are stationed on 13 important peaks in the south part of Pangong Lake. These clothes are being purchased for the soldiers of India to reduce the hassle of the soldiers posted in Ladakh during the cold season.
According to media reports, emergency purchases have also been made from European countries to meet the requirements immediately.
Also, Indian Air Force transport aircraft are continuously flying at Leh airbase for necessary supplies. These essential goods are being purchased under the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Understanding (LEMOA) between India and the United States.
Which will facilitate logistical support, supplies, and services between the armed forces of the two countries. The facility includes clothing, food, and medical services.
Explain that there have been talks at many levels in India and China to resolve the border dispute. The two countries have also agreed on some issues, but China is not deterring from their antics.
China has also stepped up its preparations keeping winter in mind. According to media reports, China has signed a deal for special tents worth about three billion rupees, which are being purchased for the winter of Ladakh.
It is being told that China has signed a deal for these special tents from Guangzhou Plato Plastic Company for 2 billion 94 crores.
All these tents will be given to the soldiers deployed at altitudes above 15,000 feet. It is being told that these tents are being prepared mainly to provide troops in dry and low oxygen areas.
