Easy & Delicious Chicken Keema Matar Recipe: Ingredients.

  1.  1 kg minced chicken.
  2.  1 1/2 cup green peas.
  3.  4 black cardamoms.
  4.  2 bay leaves.
  5.  1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  6.  1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds.
  7.  2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste.
  8.  1 1/2 cup finely chopped onions.
  9.  2 cups finely chopped tomatoes.
  10.  1/2 cup curd.
  11.  1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder.
  12.  1 teaspoon coriander powder.
  13.  1 teaspoon garam masala.
  14.  2 teaspoon kasuri methi.
  15.  2 tablespoons meat masala.
  16.  Ghee/oil (as per choice).
  17.  Salt (as per taste).

Method of preparation.

  1. Heat a pan with a little oil in it. When it becomes hot, add bay leaves, black cardamom, and black pepper and cook till they start emitting fragrance and their color turns brown.
  2. Now add cumin seeds and cook till they start crackling. After this, add ginger-garlic paste and cook till the rawness goes away.
  3. Then reduce the flame to medium-low and add chopped onion to the pan and cook till it becomes transparent.
  4. Now add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Cover the lid of the pan so that all the ingredients mix well and the tomatoes become soft.
  5. When the oil starts separating, add dry spices like coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt.
  6. Now whisk some curd and add kasuri methi to it. Mix well and pour it into the pan to mix with other ingredients.
  7. Once it starts releasing oil, add minced chicken to it. Keep stirring it continuously, so that no lumps remain. Put the meat masala in the pan and thoroughly stir.
  8. Keema Matar chicken is prepared. After adding some chopped coriander leaves, serve.
