One Nation One Ration Card System Implemented In 9 States

One Nation One Ration Card system implemented in nine states including UP: Modi government’s ambitious plan.

The Centre’s ambitious scheme One Nation One Ration Card system has been implemented in nine states of the country.

Giving this information, the Union Finance Ministry said that after this, the way for these states to take a loan of Rs 23,523 crore as additional help has been cleared.

These states include Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh.

Under the One Nation One Ration Card Scheme, beneficiaries will get the facility to take ration anywhere in the country.

Beneficiaries coming under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) under the One Nation One Ration Card Scheme will have the facility to collect ration from Fair Price Shops (FPS) anywhere in the country.

Its objective is to ensure the availability of food items to the weaker sections like migrant laborers at affordable prices anywhere in the country.

Apart from this, the practice of excluding fake people from the purview of this facility is also going on.

For this, the process of linking the ration card of all the beneficiaries with Aadhaar and biometric authentication is being adopted.

Great progress towards One Nation One Ration Card

On the basis of the spectacular progress towards the One Nation One Ration Card, the option of additional financial assistance of Rs 4,851 crore has been opened in front of Uttar Pradesh.

After completion of the work, Karnataka can take additional financial assistance of Rs 4,509 crore and Gujarat Rs 4,352 crore.

The project was too long, as the existing government infrastructure in the national capital is inadequate and also linked to our colonial past. ‘

CM Chandrasekhar of Telangana further said that the new Central Vista project would be a symbol of a resurgence, confidence, and strong India’s self-esteem, prestige, and national pride.
