Novak Djokovic reaches the quarter-finals of the Australian Open 2021, wins the 300th Grand Slam match: Australian Open 2021.

Novak Djokovic of Serbia, the number one player of the world ranking, has continued his brilliant performance and reaches the quarter-finals of the first Grand Slam of the year.

He will face Alexander Zverev in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open. Top seed Djokovic advanced to the final-8 by beating Milos Raonic of Canada in the pre-quarterfinals of the Men’s Singles, which lasted five sets.

Djokovic defeated 14th seed Raonic 7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in a match that lasted two hours and 56 minutes. This is the 300th win in 33-year Djokovic’s career Grand Slam tournaments.

Eight-time Australian Open champion Djokovic has reached the quarter-finals of the tournament for the 11th time. Novak Djokovic is also the defending champion of the Australian Open. Last year, he did this title in his name.

In the quarter-finals of the Australian Open 2021 season, they will now face sixth seed Alexander Zverev of Germany, who beat Dusan Lajovic of Serbia 6-4 7-6 (5) 6-3 in another match.

In the pre-quarterfinals against Novak Djokovic, Raonic made a comeback in the second set, but Djokovic won the next two sets to knock him out of the tournament.

The Australian Open also revealed on its official Twitter handle that the world’s number one tennis player has now become the second player in Grand Slam history to register his 300th win at the Grand Slam.

Djokovic said, “There was no preparation for this match, I used every hour from this last match. If it was a tournament other than the Grand Slam, I would withdraw. Because it is a Grand Slam, then I also want to give my best. ”
