Notice issued to Wing Commander and SHO Satwari in sexual exploitation case: J&K High Court.
The High Court’s Division Bench has issued a notice to the accused wing commander and the SCO of Satwari Police Station after looking into a petition filed by a female pilot of the IAF victim of sexual exploitation at the workplace.
The victim, a female Payal, had filed a petition in the division bench seeking dismissal of the lower court’s decision to grant anticipatory bail to the accused.
On this, the Bench has issued a notice to the accused and the police, ordering them to stand. According to the case, a female pilot of the IAF accused her wing commander Mayank Kapral of harassing her mentally and physically.
Advocate Aseem Sahni, appearing before the bench on behalf of the victim, pleaded for dismissal of the accused’s anticipatory bail.
Contending that a case under section 354 of the IPC was registered against the accused in the Satwari police station.
The lower court granted anticipatory bail without hearing the victim.
Advocate Sawhney contended that the offense of the accused is not a bailable offense, hence the trial court has granted anticipatory bail to the accused in violation of the legal provisions.
Accused of Vedas Hookah Cafe has not been granted bail: The arrest of the people arrested on Sunday from the Vedas Hookah Bar in the Gandhi Nagar area, hidden in the Corona curfew, has not been released yet.
On Monday, the bail application was filed in Munsif Court on behalf of the accused. The case was heard in the court, but due to the Corona period, the order of bail is not typed, all the 12 accused are likely to get bail on Tuesday.
For now, he will have to go through the Gandhinagar lockup on Monday night as well.

The 12 accused arrested by the police include Akpreet, Sahil Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Rajat Kumar, Akshaydeep, Sarvajit Singh, Parminder Singh.
