Militancy In Jammu Kashmir: ATS arrested a suspect from Kishtwar, who used to recruit for Lashkar.

The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Maharashtra Police arrested a suspect for recruiting terrorists for Lashkar-e-Taiba after raiding it in the Kishtwar district of the Jammu division.

His whereabouts were also searched. After taking remand from the court, the suspect was taken to Pune by the ATS.

Recently, Junaid Muhammad, a terrorist caught in Pune, was entrusted with the responsibility of recruiting terrorists for Lashkar in different parts of the country.

Based on interrogation, the ATS came to know about Junaid’s network operating in Jammu and Kashmir.

On this basis, the action was taken in Kishtwar. Kishtwar police are keeping silent in this matter.

The ATS team from Maharashtra reached Kishtwar on Wednesday evening. The team contacted the police and gathered information about Aftab Shah’s son Abdul Jabbar Shah of Patimahal village.

Late-night itself, the team surrounded his house. so that he could not run away. ATS arrested Jabbar at night with the help of police and brought him to the CGM court on Thursday morning.

From there, his transit remand was taken. The ATS had put a black cloth on his face. Aftab has misguided many youths and included them in Lashkar.

What is the whole matter: Maharashtra ATS arrested 28-year-old Junaid, a terrorist from the Dapodi area of ​​Pune, on May 24, who was accused of having contacts with terrorist organizations.

Junaid is a resident of Khamgaon in Buldhana, Pune. He lived with relatives in Dapodi itself. No one doubts that he used to work in the shop of a junk dealer.

According to the ATS, Junaid has visited Kashmir six times in two years. He was also in touch with the terrorists by phone.

He would also get money through hawala, which he used to spend in the network of making terrorists for Lashkar in his entire country.

He was reportedly in touch with active members of the Pakistan-based Lashkar terror network through internet media platforms.

It is alleged that Junaid Muhammad was entrusted with the task of recruiting new members for Lashkar-e-Taiba from different states. He also used to give the training to carry out terrorist activities.

The poor youth was his target. Junaid had changed his mobile phone number several times.

The ATS suspects that it has links with terrorist organizations in Pakistan, which are under investigation. ATS also took Junaid to Kashmir before coming to Kishtwar.

Some arrests have been made there as well. No one is confirming this. SSP Shafqat Hussain Bhatt said that we have no information about Aftab but Maharashtra ATS was looking for him.
