After Pahalgam Terror Attack, 50 Tourist Spots Shut: In the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley on April 22, the government has taken a decisive step by closing 50 out of 87 designated tourist sites across Kashmir.

For security reasons, 50 parks and gardens in the Kashmir Valley’s most vulnerable locations have been closed after the Pahalgam terror incident. In response to the terrorist incident in Pahalgam, officials announced on Tuesday that over fifty public parks and gardens in critical sections of the Kashmir valley had been shuttered.

He added that the gates to 48 of Kashmir’s 87 public parks and gardens had been closed owing to visitor safety concerns. He said that the security review is an ongoing process, and more places can be added to the list in the coming days.

According to officials, the closed destinations are primarily located in remote areas, including several spots that had been developed as tourist attractions over the past decade.

After the Pahalgam Terror Attack: These names are included in the list

Dooshpathri, Kokernag, Duksum, Sinthan Top, Achhabal, Bangas Valley, Morgan Top, and Tosamaidan are among the tourist-free zones. Although the authorities have not issued any formal order in this regard, entry to these places has been stopped. In the case of many Mughal Gardens in South Kashmir, the doors of these places have been closed.

Let us tell you that this decision has come after the Pahalgam terror attack. A terrorist incident took place on April 22 in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley. In which 26 people of the country, including a foreign national, were killed, and many were injured.

Tourists started joining the valley

At the same time, tourists have started joining the valley once again after the Pahalgam terror attack. Despite the disaster, tourists were seen gathering in Bhaderwah on Tuesday to admire the region’s natural beauty, exhibiting perseverance and faith in the local character. Here, tourists have condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and said that no one can stop them from coming to Kashmir.
