According to Greater Manchester Police, Haider was taken into custody in Canterbury on August 3 following a complaint filed by a woman of Pakistani origin. He was later granted bail, although authorities have confiscated his passport. Following the arrest, Haider reportedly broke down in tears and maintained his innocence.
