Sajjad Mir Alias Hyder was on the path of terror like Burhan. Director-General of Police Dilbag Singh on Monday confirmed the killing of three terrorists involved in an attack on the Naka party in Kariri Baramulla. He told that Sajjad alias Hyder was a resident of Barath Kalan Sopore in North Kashmir. He was active in terrorist activities since 2014.

The other two terrorists killed along with him are Anayatullah Mir alias Ini Maulvi of Indragam Pattan and terrorist commander Osman from Pakistan. At the moment, a campaign is going on against the other colleagues of these three.

A police officer said that Hyder had carried out at least six terrorist incidents in Sopore and adjoining areas in 2016. He was the one who attacked a CRPF patrol in Sopore some time back. In this, one CRPF personnel was martyred and four injured. It is he who killed a mobile phone tower watchman Eid-ul-Amin Mir alias Nazir Budu in Baharampora Sopore, besides Ghulam Mohiuddin Sheikh resident Bommai and Mushtaq Ahmad Mir resident Harvan Sopore.

It was he who attacked the house of fruit merchant Haydullah Rather last year. Four people, including a three-year-old girl, were injured in it. He shot Mohammed Shafi Alam, a laborer from another state, in Nurbagh Sopore. Hyder had set two Maruti cars on fire forcibly enforcing the bandh in Warpora and Reban. Hyder was on the most wanted list

J&K Police DGP Dilbag Singh said that Haider and Usman were included in the list of most-wanted terrorists active in North Kashmir. He encouraged many youths to become terrorists in North Kashmir. The police have caught at least 23 such boys, who had been recruited by Hyder to become terrorists. He used to threaten people by releasing videos like Burhan Bani and Riyaz Naiku. It is a great success for him to be killed.
