Three Teachers Of Madarasa In Shopian Arrested Under PSA
Three teachers of madrasa became a nursery of terrorists arrested in PSA, activities of six teachers are also being monitored. Three teachers of Jamia Siraj-ul-Uloom, located in Shopian, which are emerging as nurseries of jihadis in Kashmir, have been arrested under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
Siraj-ul-Uloom is one of the major madrasas in Kashmir and has been on the radar of agencies for more than three years due to frequent incidents and involvement of students here in anti-national activities.
In a few years, 13 of the militants killed in South Kashmir have descended from this madrasa. Sajjad Butt, who was involved in the Pulwama attack, also studied from here.
The IG range of Kashmir range Vijay Kumar said that this madrasa is associated with Jamaat-e-Islami. Some of its students have been found to be involved in terrorist and anti-national activities.
Its three teachers Abdul Ahad Butt, Rauf Ahmad Butt, and Mohammad Yusuf Wani have been arrested under the Public Safety Act.
He informed us that all the activities of the madrasa are being monitored. Many people related to this are under investigation. The activities of about six teachers are being investigated. If necessary, drastic action can be taken against some more people.
The concerned officials said that students from all over the state including Kulgam, Pulwama, and Anantnag come to study in Siraj-ul-Uloom. Many students from Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Telangana have also entered here.
Not only Sajjad Butt, Al-Badr’s terrorist Zubair Nengaru, who was killed in August this year, is also a product of this madrasa.
Hizbul terrorists Nazmin Dar and Ejaz Ahmed Pal have also left from here. The youth of Baramulla in North Kashmir, who became jihadis in the recent past, were also students of this institution.
Meanwhile, the days of the Hurriyat Conference, which are following the signals of Pakistan, are almost completely over. In the changed atmosphere of Kashmir, the common Kashmiris have pushed it to the margins of politics.
To avoid questions from the people, the separatist leaders are not even leaving the houses, but they are serving the lie of detention. Even if these separatist leaders speak, they have forgotten to mention Kashmir’s independence and plebiscite.
It is noteworthy that since the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act came into force on August 5, 2019, the separatist camp is completely silent. The Hurriyat Conference has issued a statement only four to five times during the last year.
