Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo and Defense Minister Mark Esper are visiting India today for important meeting, two-plus-two talks (India-US 2 + 2 Dialogue) ahead of the presidential election in the US.

During this time, the two countries will talk about many issues including from China to the Corona vaccine. The Indian side will be represented by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

Michael Pompeo and Mark Espar will participate in the third edition of the two-plus-two talks between India and America on Tuesday.

These talks of two top Trump ministers are considered very important just a week before the elections in the US.

The talks will discuss a number of important bilateral, regional, and global issues, including China’s attempt to increase influence in the Indo-Pacific region and its aggressive behavior in the eastern Ladakh region.

Along with the talks, Pompeo and Espar will also hold bilateral talks with their Indian counterparts. He will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, the long-running war between Armenia and Azerbaijan has come to an end. After 29 days, the representatives of both countries have agreed on the ceasefire.
