Amit Shah, who reached Imphal on Monday on a three-day visit to Manipur, has held several meetings so far.
Union Minister Amit Shah has held an all-party meeting in Imphal in an effort to bring peace and normalcy to Manipur. This all-party meeting has taken place at the Chief Minister’s residence.
At least 75 people have been killed and 300 others injured in ethnic violence in Manipur since May 3. Earlier, Amit Shah had also met Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uike on Monday.
Shah also held a meeting with Chief Minister N Biren Singh and state ministers, senior leaders, and officials to restore normalcy in the state.
The Center and the Manipur state government have also decided to give a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to those who died during the ethnic conflict in Manipur.
Amit Shah came into action regarding Manipur violence: A job will also be given to a family member of those killed in the riots.
Officials said the compensation amount would be borne equally by the Center and the state.
This decision was taken in the meeting between Amit Shah and CM N Biren Singh on Monday.

Khan appeared before Judge Ijaz Ahmed Buttar of ATC Lahore and deposited a bail amount of PKR 1 lakh each in four terrorism cases in which he was already granted bail from arrest till June 2, a court official said.
