Amul Milk in the US: Amul Fresh Milk will be launched in America within a week. Know what the MD of the company said.
Amul milk will be available outside India for the first time. Within a week, the US market will have four types of milk available from the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF).
This initiative aims to meet the needs of the Indian origin and Asian population.
GCMMF Managing Director Jayen Mehta told the news agency, “We have been exporting dairy products for many decades. This is our first time offering fresh milk outside India.”
Amul milk will be seen in the American market.
He said GCMMF has partnered with the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA), a 108-year-old cooperative organization to introduce fresh milk in the US market.
He went on to say that GCMMF would handle branding and marketing, and MMPA would handle milk collection and processing.
These varieties of Amul will be in the American market.
Managing Director Mehta said that the product will be ours. Amul Gold, Amul Shakti, Amul Fresh, and Amul Slim n Trim will be accessible in the US market in a week.
He added that further cities such as New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Washington, Dallas, and Texas would have access to fresh milk.
GCMMF will use this program to address the Asian and NRI populations.
“We anticipate positive feedback from clients.”
He stated that GCMMF will concentrate on branding and marketing for the next three to four months when questioned about the sales target.
He said that we are expecting a good response from the customers. MD Mehta said that GCMMF will also introduce fresh milk products like cheese, curd, and buttermilk shortly.
