The army and police have recovered arms and ammunition from the jungles of Chhatru in the Kishtwar district of the Jammu division. Police and the army are still searching in the area.
According to the information, the National Rifle of Police and Army was getting information that the weapons were hidden in the forest by the local overground worker.
They use to help the terrorists in Chhatru forests of Kishtwar when these terrorists infiltrated from across the border to Kashmir.
Local over-ground workers often hide weapons in the jungles so that when militants from across the border intrude on this side, they can also be provided with other weapons hidden in the jungle.
Keeping this in view, the personnel of Jammu Kashmir Police and Army Rifles of the Army carried out a joint operation in the jungles of Chhatru.
During this time they have found two wireless sets hidden in the jungle, two pistol magazines, two China-made pistols, 38 rounds, and some medicines.
Police and army teams suspect that terrorists are hiding in the surrounding forests. Keeping this in view, a joint search operation is still going on in Chhatru forests.
BSF nabbed three Bangladeshis trying to infiltrate India.
The Border Security Force (BSF) along the Indo-Bangladesh border adjoining the districts of South Bengal continues to thwart the intentions of the intruders.
In the same sequence, vigilant personnel of BSF under South Bengal Frontier nabbed three Bangladeshis trying to cross the international border illegally.
Officials said that these three Bangladeshi nationals were trying to enter India from the border area of Murshidabad district on 23 April.
In a statement issued by BSF, it was stated that after getting information from the intelligence department of the force, the company commander of the border post-Farzipada carried out a search operation in the Char area under his leadership.
During this operation, the search party caught three Bangladeshis trying to infiltrate into India who came to India and wanted to go to cities like Delhi and Bangalore to get employment.
