Congress Vs Facebook: Congress raises demand – Parliament committee should investigate allegations against Facebook. Congress leader KC Venugopal has demanded a parliamentary committee inquiry against Facebook for allegations of interfering in the country’s democracy.

The Congress leader also said that the provocative posts allowed on social media platforms should be published since 2014. Making a special mention in the Rajya Sabha, Venugopal said that media reports have revealed information about Facebook India.

He said that the charge of interfering in the democracy of the country on Facebook India is fatal and serious. He said that India is one of the largest markets for Facebook and WhatsApp in terms of users.

Facebook had earlier answered questions from the Congress party over allegations of political interference and political bias in India’s democratic process. Candidates for the 12,460 teacher recruitment held in the year 2016 have not been appointed yet. Congress national general secretary Priyanka Vadra heard the agony of these youths and promised all possible help.
