Big success for security forces in Chhattisgarh, two Naxalites killed in the encounter.

In Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district, DRG (District Reserve Guard) personnel killed two Naxalites in separate encounters on Saturday morning.

Bodies, arms, and a large quantity of Naxalite items have been recovered from the spot. The Maoists have not been identified.

On Sunday, SP Mohit Garg demonstrated the goods recovered from the Naxalites in front of the media in the police line.

Bastar IG Sundarraj P told that on the information of the gathering of armed Naxalites of Maad Division in the forest of Abujhmad of Orchha police station area.

At midnight of Friday, the DRG troop was dispatched from Narayanpur in the direction of Village Itul, Korovaya, Bhatbera, Bade Tondabera, and Ader area

The camp of Naxalites was seen in the forest near Itul at around 9 am on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Naxalites started firing. The force also retaliated.

The Naxalites fled after about half an hour of firing. On searching the spot, the body of a Naxalite, 303 bore rifle and other materials were recovered.

The soldiers were returning with the body and belongings of the Naxalites that the Naxalites tried to trap the force in Ambush in the forest of Korovaya.

After that, the firing started. The soldiers gave a befitting reply this time too. After some time the Naxalites fled towards the forest.

Here also the body of a Naxalite, 315 bore rifle, arrow-bow, detonator, and other items were recovered.

Some jawans have sustained minor injuries in this encounter, who are being treated at Narayanpur District Hospital. The slain Maoists have not been identified.
