Karnataka Acid Attack: Health Minister asked to run the case in fast track court, and said – Government will give all possible help to the victim.

On Thursday, the statement of Health Minister K Sudhakar has come to the fore on the acid attack on a woman in the Kamakshipalya police station area in Karnataka.

Sudhakar said that the acid attack on a 24-year-old girl is a barbaric incident. The police have expressed confidence that the accused will be arrested in a day or two.

He said that the government would take care of the treatment of the victim, and help her with financial assistance in every possible way. The minister also talked about running the matter in a fast-track court.

Victim out of danger.

According to West Bengaluru DCP Sanjeev Patil, the woman has been given primary health care and is out of danger.

Teams have been formed to nab the accused and soon the accused named Nagesh will be in police custody.

Threw 1 liter of acid.

According to the information received by the police, the accused attacked the girl with 1 liter of acid.

Police also said that accused Nagesh had gone to the local court and had applied for bail from several lawyers. When no lawyer was found, the accused fled from there.

At the same time, after the attack, the victim was in a lot of pain and she first called her father after which she was admitted to St. John’s Hospital. The victim then recorded her statement with the police.

Attacked for rejecting a love proposal.

Police said that preliminary investigation revealed that the accused named Nagesh was in love with this 24-year-old girl unilaterally. He had planned to attack the victim.

Police say that the accused Nagesh was allegedly in love with the victim, and he told this to the victim, but he attacked as the girl did not accept the offer.
