BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri Attacked By TRS Workers

BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri was attacked by TRS workers, TRS workers broke the glass of the car.

Once again there has been a clash between BJP and TRS. BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri on Wednesday alleged that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers in Telangana attacked him with stones, knives, sticks.

Dharmapuri alleged that TRS workers obstructed his convoy and even broke the glass of his car.

Addressing the press conference, Dharmapuri said that he was on his way towards Nandipet Mandal to inaugurate some works.

On the way, he got information that 500 TRS cadres have been deployed almost with iron rods, stones, knives, sticks to attack him.

Dharmapuri said that he immediately informed the district police officials but the police did not take any action.

He said that the police commissioner was also avoiding talking. He alleged that the police had apathetic behavior towards the BJP which he was surprised to see.

The MP said that his vehicle was stopped on the way as expected and the TRS mob surrounded him and BJP workers.

He alleged that after this TRS workers started pelting stones at him and injured several BJP workers as well.

Alleging complicity between Telangana Police and TRS, he said that the whole incident was a well-planned conspiracy that was hatched on Tuesday and there is no such thing as security in Telangana.

The BJP leader further said that he had a program to meet farmers in Nandipet Mandal. He alleged that because he was going to meet the farmers, he was attacked.

The Kerala government has announced amendments to the Lokayukta Act. On the other hand, the opposition parties have become attackers regarding the decision of the state government.

In this connection, the opposition parties have met Governor Arif Khan Mohammad on Thursday. Opposition parties are appealing to the governor not to approve the ordinance.
