Employees of the EDA including Pakistan newspaper editor, Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists have taken to the streets in protest against this incident and are demanding justice.

These people are protesting demanding the arrest of the accused in the murder case.

Along with this, he also demanded justice for the family of journalist Hasnain Shah at the earliest.

He has also urged the government to provide security to journalists, The News International reported. Actually, Lahore resident Hasnain Shah was a crime reporter on a private TV channel.

He is survived by his wife and two children. According to a senior police officer in Punjab, Hasnain Shah, when he was parking his car outside the Press Club.

He was fired indiscriminately by two men on a motorcycle, killing him on the spot. He was about 40 years old.

At the same time, according to the Express Tribune, a statement issued by a Pakistan newspaper editor said that Shah was shot by assailants on an unidentified motorcycle outside the Lahore Press Club.

Referring to the deplorable law and order situation in the country, the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan has condemned the murder of a journalist from Lahore.

PHRC condemned the murder of TV journalist Hasnain Shah, saying that the manner in which a journalist was murdered in broad daylight in Lahore has created a failed law and order situation.

Ruckus in Pakistan: There is an atmosphere of fear among the journalists.

The Lahore Economic Journalists Association has also condemned the killing of journalist Hasnain. The lives of journalists are not safe, and the administration has failed to protect them.

At the same time, Azam Choudhary, president of Lahore Press Club, said that the killing of a journalist in broad daylight in front of the Press Club is shameful for the government.

He said that the incident would not go unnoticed and officials would be responsible if the culprits were not caught soon.

According to the International Federation of Journalists, three journalists were killed in Pakistan in 2021. 45 journalists were killed worldwide in a single year.

These include nine journalists in Afghanistan, which is the highest number of journalists killed in any single country.
