CBI Reached The Houses Of Four BJP Workers Killed In Bengal
CBI reached the houses of four BJP workers killed in post-poll violence in Bengal: Bengal Violence.
Following the order of the Calcutta High Court, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has increased its activism to investigate the incidents of post-poll violence in Bengal.
Along with this, all the four units of the CBI, formed to investigate the violence, have sent their teams from Kolkata to the respective crime places.
CBI officials on Friday also reached the homes of four BJP workers killed in violence after the assembly elections in three districts of Nadia, North 24 Parganas, and South 24 Parganas and spoke to their relatives.
The officials recorded their statements and also collected some video clips and documents.
A team of CBI officers reached Chapra and Krishnanagar in Nadia district, Bhatpara in North 24 Parganas district, and Sangrampur in South 24 Parganas district on Friday to investigate the incidents of violence after the assembly elections in Bengal.
Let us inform you that on May 14, a BJP worker named Dharma Mandal was murdered in the Hridaypur area of Chapada in Nadia district.
Trinamool Congress workers and supporters are accused of murder. The police had arrested seven people based on the allegations of the family.
At the same time, on the morning of June 14, BJP worker Palash Mandal was murdered in front of his house in Manindra Palli of Krishnanagar.
To investigate the matter, the CBI team reached Palash’s house along with Dharma Mandal. CBI officers gathered information by talking to their relatives and people of the area.
Along with this, the place where both of them were attacked, also took stock of the said place.
Apart from this, the CBI team also reached the house of BJP worker Jaiprakash Yadav, who was killed in the violence on June 6 in Bhatpara of North 24 Parganas district, and recorded the statement of his sister.
Simultaneously, CBI officials reached the house of BJP worker Sangram Bar, who was killed in the post-poll violence in Sangrampur in South 24 Parganas district, and talked to his relatives.
CBI officials also visited the spot where Sangram was shot dead. Significantly, the CBI had registered nine FIRs in connection with the violence on Thursday itself.
After this, the CBI team had first reached Kankurgachi in Kolkata, where they gathered evidence and information by visiting the house of the BJP worker killed in the election violence.
