CBI Will Conduct DNA Tests Of Those Killed in Birbhum Violence
CBI will conduct DNA tests on those killed in Birbhum violence, investigators doubt the identity of the dead.
The CBI now also doubts the identity of those killed in the Birbhum violence. That’s why now CBI wants to do their DNA test. DNA will be matched with family members.
Let us inform you that 11 people were burnt to death in this violence. The DNA collected during the post-mortem will be sent to the Central Forensic Science Lab in Delhi for testing.
The CBI also suspects that the same person had identified all the dead bodies.
The family of the deceased had claimed from the beginning that no member of their family had identified them before the bodies were buried.
The villagers buried them. The family members have also lodged a complaint against the police in this regard.
On the other hand, the gross negligence of the police officers has also come to the fore in this incident.
According to CBI sources, the police officers were busy in a meeting at a guest house a short distance away when houses were burning in Bogtui village.
Such information has come to the fore after the CCTV footage and interrogation of the SDPO and SHO of Rampurhat.
Investigators say that while houses were being set on fire one after the other, some police officers were conducting searches to nab the killers of TMC leader Bhadu Sheikh, and some senior officers were busy in the meeting.
The question for CBI is what was the urgent need to hold a meeting instead of standing near the fire-stricken village?
CBI sources say that this whole incident was happening at the behest of someone influential.
