Demand to bring the law on the protection of temples in Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits demonstrated.
To improve the condition of temples in Kashmir and to preserve these temples, Kashmiri Pandits demonstrated and demanded to bring a temple law.
Kashmiri Pandits enthusiastically participated in the demonstration under the banner of Premnath Bhatt Memorial Trust and raised their voice.
These people said that the condition of temples in Kashmir is bad. The central government will have to take strict steps to preserve these temples. Legislation has to be made for the protection of temples.
The Kashmiri Pandits demanded that a temple law should be enacted at the earliest and the temples of the valley should be fully protected.
These people said that in 1990 Kashmiri Pandits were forced to migrate from Kashmir. Kashmiri Pandits had to leave their property and come back.
In such a situation, the religious places and temples of Hindus in the valley could not be maintained. Now the lands of these temples are being occupied.
In such a situation, it is very important to make temple law. Kashmiri Pandits said that the central government is being requested again and again.
Demand to bring the law on the protection of temples in Kashmir: A memorandum has also been sent to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
Our temples should be protected. Shadi Lal Kaul said that as there is a Waqf Board or Gurdwara Management Committee, in this way it is necessary to make a temple law for the protection of the temples of the valley.
He said that if the central government does not take our words seriously, then we will be forced to protest in a big way. Kashmiri Pandits raised slogans for their demands.
At the same time, he warned that if the central government did not think about this, then these people would be forced to take to the streets.
Various activists of Kashmiri Pandit organizations participated in this demonstration.
