Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this while addressing the IIT 2020 Global Summit through video conferencing on Friday.
The Prime Minister said that his government is fully committed to the principles of reform (reform), performance (performance), and transformation (change).
Modi said, ‘No sector is deprived of reforms. We have made improvements in agriculture, nuclear energy, defense, education, health, infrastructure, finance, banking, taxation, and many more.
We have made significant improvements in the labor sector by incorporating 44 central labor laws into only four labor codes. Today, our corporate tax rate is the lowest in the world.
The PM said that there was record investment in India during the Corona period. A large part of this was also in the technology sector. It is clear that the world trusts us.
There has been a radical change in the way India works. The things that we thought we could never do, are being done at a fast pace today.
Committing to strengthening in the technology sector, Modi said, ‘We are working with South East Asia and European countries in this direction.
Our aim is to provide an international platform for the youth to showcase their talent and learn. ‘
Let me tell you that the theme of this year’s summit organized by Pan IIT America is The Future is Now.
Issues such as economy, technology, innovation, health, housing protection, and universal education are being discussed at this summit.
Pan IIT USA is an organization that is more than 20 years old. Since 2003 Pan IIT USA has organized this conference and invited speakers from various fields including industry, education, and government.
