India and Australia criticized cross-border terrorism.

Indirectly pointing to Pakistan, India and Australia on Thursday criticized cross-border terrorism and demanded concrete action against all terrorist networks.

The matter came up prominently during the virtual meeting of the India-Australia Joint Working Group on Combating Terrorism.

A joint statement issued after the meeting said that India and Australia have criticized all forms of terrorism. Also spoke of the need for international support for the fight against terrorism.

The statement said the two sides underscored their commitment to coordination and cooperation to counter-terrorism, with a broad strategic partnership established by PM Modi and his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison.

India, Britain share their views on nuclear non-proliferation

India and Britain on Thursday shared views on topics related to nuclear non-proliferation, conventional weapons, protection of outer space, and export control regimes.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said in a statement that the discussion took place under the framework of the India-UK bilateral dialogue on disarmament and nuclear non-proliferation.

The two countries shared views on broad contemporary issues of mutual interest in the fields of nuclear, chemical, biological disarmament and nuclear non-proliferation, conventional weapons, protection of outer space, and export control regimes.
