Kashmiri Pandits Raised The Demand Preservation Of Temples
Kashmiri Pandits raised the demand for the formation of a board for the preservation of temples in the valley.
Kashmiri Pandits have demanded that the government should form a temple board for the preservation of temples and other religious places of Hindus in the valley.
These Kashmiri Pandits raised this issue loudly in a program organized by Pandit Premnath Bhatt Memorial Trust on Sunday.
The program was organized here in memory of Pandit Premnath Bhatt, who was martyred in the valley on this day in 1989.
Every year in his memory, it is celebrated as Chetna Day. The people of the community paid tribute to Pandit Bhatt and said that now is the time to save the temples of the valley.
Roshan Lal Pandita, chairman of Pandit Premnath Bhatt Memorial Trust said, “We have pressured the government to bring a temple bill to protect the temples of Kashmir.”
After the migration of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley, encroachment on the land of temples continues here today. At the same time, the temple building has also been torn down.
Therefore, for the preservation of temples, it is very important to make a board from the side.
On the occasion, RL Bhatt said that the way the Gurdwara Prabandhak Board is in the country, it is very important to make a board to maintain the temples of the valley.
Swami Kumar paid tribute to the martyr Pandit Premnath Bhatt and said on the other hand that Bhatt is a source of inspiration for all of us who worked for the Kashmiri Pandit society.
Our heritage in Kashmiri should be saved. The only thing that will happen is the formation of a temple board. Panun Kashmir chief Virendra Raina said that now the government should make a plan to return to the valley.
Kashmiri Pandits want to go back to the valley, plans should be made accordingly. At the same time, the heritage of the Hindus, which is in the heritage valley, should be preserved in any case.
