Bharatiya Janata Party Organization General Secretary Ashok Kaul has said that from today, Kashmiri Pandits have started going to Kashmir after decades.
They are going to the temples of Srinagar and doing religious rituals. Kaul said that when he visited some temples in Srinagar, not only the Kashmiri Pandits living in the Kashmir Valley were worshiping there but the Pandits who had left the valley decades ago also reached there.
They were participating in the Havan-Yajna held there. When I talked to many, they told me that they have started coming back to the valley.
Kaul said this while talking to reporters after an event held at the Shitalnath temple. Kaul said that as far as the security forces are concerned, those who are living in Kashmir are completely safe.
The security system in Kashmir is such that Kashmiri Pandits can return to their homes.
There is no need to worry about any kind of security. The security situation at the ground level has changed a lot.
He said that any Kashmiri Pandit would like to come back home, he would feel safe here. On the renovation and encroachment of the temples in Srinagar, Kaul said that in some places the lands of the temples have been occupied.
They have been asked to remove it. In many places, influential people and the government itself is responsible for the encroachment. The government should work on it. All encroachments should be removed.
Congratulating all the Hindu, Muslim, and Sikh communities on this day, Kaul said that today the whole of India is celebrating the beginning of Navratri, Baisakhi, and the month of Ramadan. This is the greatness of India.
Jammu Kashmir: Security forces thwart terrorist conspiracy by recovering IED from Pulwama.
Security forces have foiled a major terrorist conspiracy in Pulwama in South Kashmir by recovering a powerful IED on time.
According to information received here, the police had received news that the terrorists are preparing IEDs in Pulwama to carry out the plot of a major bomb blast.
As soon as the news was received, the police, along with 53 RR soldiers of the army, carried out a search operation under siege of Kamarajpora of Pulwama.
Investigative dogs and drones were also used in this expedition. While searching the soldiers, when they entered an orchard, they found an IED secretly kept hidden there.
Related sources said that this IED was produced from about seven kg RDX. The security forces took the IED into their possession and safely denied it.
He said that the terrorists who prepared the IED and their hour-long workplaces were being searched. Other details are awaited.
