The BJP Vail Yatra has started from the residence of BJP leader L Murugan in Coimbatore this morning following the denial of permission by the Tamil Nadu government for the Vail Yatra to be held on behalf of the BJP.

At present, more than a hundred policemen, including Additional Commissioner Arun, two Associate Commissioners, three Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners.

Inspectors, and more than 500 Task Force policemen have been mobilized to arrest the BJP cadres who are crossing the road at Poonamallee next to Thirumalisai Joint Road following the decision to proceed via Madurai, Poonamallee.

The area is bordered by the Chennai Police and the Tiruvallur District Police and is being closely monitored by two district police.

Vehicles carrying the BJP flag are folded and sent back. Police are currently on high alert to arrest the BJP leader for violating the ban on the Thirumalisai joint road. All three halls are ready for this.

We are leaving for the Vail Pilgrimage with the permission given by Lord Murugan – L. Murugan. Police are engaged in intensive surveillance at the main junction on the road from Chennai to Thiruthani.

Tamil Nadu BJP leader L. Murugan has said that the Vail pilgrimage will take place in defiance of the government’s ban. Murugan said.

Also, there is a legal right to worship God; L said that no one could stop it and that Lord Murugan had given them permission. Murugan said.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai, Murugan said, “Murugan Perumal has given blessings to our Vetrivel Yatra. This Vail is coming in droves. This Vail will travel all over Tamil Nadu. The pilgrimage is to tear off their masks, “he said.

Meanwhile, more than a hundred policemen have been deployed at Nasarathpet and Tamaraipakkam in the two district police borders to arrest the BJP pilgrims from Chennai via Tiruvallur.

Police are engaged in intensive surveillance at the main junction on the road from Chennai to Thiruthani. Police have set up barricades at key places, including the Murugan Temple.

Vice President K.S. Led by Narendra, 30 people gathered at the Thiruthani Bypass Joint Road. Narendra said that we will definitely start the pilgrimage after worshiping Murugan.
