Marxist leaders are looting the money of temples in Kerala, they don’t believe in God, alleges BJP.
Kerala BJP Vice President KS Radhakrishnan on Monday took a dig at CPI(M) leaders, saying that Marxist politicians are looting the money of temples.
“There is an irony in the attitude of the communists towards places of worship in general. Theoretically, no communist can believe in God, temples, rituals, etc.
Because they believe in dialectical and historical materialism in which there is no place for God and related rituals.’
‘Communists cannot protect places of worship.
BJP state vice president said, “In Kerala, Marxist leaders are practicing self-defection. They want to present themselves as protectors of religious faith.
But how can they be like that? No jackal is able to protect chickens, chickens cannot be protected by jackals. So communists cannot protect places of worship because they never believe in God.’
Indu Malhotra video viral.
Radhakrishnan’s remarks came after an old video of retired Supreme Court Justice Indu Malhotra went viral on social media, in which she could be heard saying that communist governments have destroyed Hindus.
Temples have been captured. She was referring to the Padmanabha Swamy temple in Kerala in the video.
Indu Malhotra can be heard telling him that she, along with Justice UU Lalit, had stopped the temple takeover by the government.
According to him, the state government in Kerala wanted to acquire temples, especially Hindu temples, for revenue.
‘Marxist person cannot protect the interests of temples’.
Radhakrishnan said, ‘I don’t think Indu Malhotra has said anything wrong in this matter. She has disclosed what happened in the recent past.
According to the BJP leader, a Marxist person cannot protect the interests of the temple and they are only interested in the revenue of the temples.
‘Marxist leaders want to grab money from temples.’
Radhakrishnan said, “In Kerala, they are very much interested in temples and their governance. They want to grab money from temples.
How can they appoint a Marxist person to protect the interests of the temple? If he is a Marxist person, he cannot protect the interests of the temple.
They look after temples for revenue. He is only interested in money. Indu Malhotra has said this. it’s a fact.’
