Supporters of Al Sadr are demonstrating on the street carrying AK-47s and rifles, due to which the army is also afraid to control the anger of the protesters.

Many pictures like vandalism on roads, setting vehicles on fire, and firing in the air are being shared on social media.

Al Sadr tweeted that he was retiring from politics and would close his office. The clashes started only a few hours after the announcement.

Supporters have taken a decision to disturb peace in the country.

Parliament has been gheraoed, similar demonstrations are taking place in Sri Lanka, the only difference is that the protesters here are armed with weapons.
