NIA raids Shaukat’s house in Bandipura in Terror funding case: Kashmir.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided the house of Shaukat Ahmed located in Sumbal Bandipore in North Kashmir this morning.

The NIA team arrived in Bandipore along with a team of security forces has started a search in Shaukat’s house. Their bank accounts are also being investigated.

According to information received from police sources, the NIA, which is investigating the Terror funding case, has carried out this raid in this connection.

NIA raids Shaukat’s house: At the moment the authorities are refusing to say anything explicit. He informed that the investigation process is going on.

Apart from Shaukat’s house, a campaign can also be conducted at his business establishments. Other details are awaited.

ACB Raids in Udhampur: Property attached to crores of former supervisor of FCI godown Udhampur.

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday took major action against former Supervisor Rakesh Kumar Pargal of Food Corporation of India (FCI) godown, Udhampur.

As part of this action, he has attached assets worth crores including Udhampur’s royal residence and banquet hall.

A preliminary inquiry against corruption tax illegally acquired disproportionate assets against the Chief Supervisor of FCI Godown, CAPD Department, Udhampur and Vigilance Squad Incharge of Food and Civil Supplies and Public Distribution Department Rakesh Kumar Pargal.

He has deposited crores of assets in the name of himself and his family members, after being found suspicious, the ACB registered a case and raided and seized 285 grams of gold and several documents.

Freeze some accounts and lockers as well.

According to an Anti Corruption Bureau spokesperson, Rakesh Kumar Pargal is also involved in the case registered by ACB in Doda in the Rs 260 crore scam in the name of wheat prices, haulage, wages and milling and was arrested.

The ACB found out in the investigation that Rakesh Kumar Pargal was appointed as a daily in 1984 in the TSO office Channani.

After which he was posted at the office of Udhampur, AD Office, FCI & FCI godown Udhampur Department.

The investigation also revealed that Vigilance (now ACB) filed a case against Rakesh under various sections in the year 2009.

Due to this, he remained suspended from 26 June 2009 to 19 February 2012 and was attached to the Director Office of the Food Supplies Department in Jammu.

His appointment to the Vigilance Squad in the Department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution after the suspension was suspended, reflects his deep nexus with the officers and others of the department.
