Rafael And Tejas Showed Strength In Ghaziabad
Rafael and Tejas showed strength in Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi, IAF’s might showed in Assam. Make new discoveries, live in unity, and frighten the enemy.
With this mission, during the full dress rehearsal of the Air Force Day celebrations, the soldiers at Hindon Air Force Station showed their might from the ground to the sky.
While stepping in, the airmen sang ‘Sare Jahan Se Achcha Song’ and its echo was heard throughout Hindon Air Force Station.
At the same time, the roar of Rafale, Tejas, Sukhoi, and other fighter aircraft in the sky made the whole world acquainted with the indomitable courage of the Indian Air Force.
On October 8, Chief of Defence Staff General Vipin Rawat and the heads of the three armies will be present at the Air Force Day celebrations.
Air Force Honorary Group Captain and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will also arrive at the function. On October 8, the 88th Air Force Day celebrations will be held at Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad.
Earlier on Tuesday, the full dress rehearsal was done. The rehearsal was initiated by members of the Aakashganga team.
The Aakashganga team jumped from an AN-32 aircraft from an altitude of eight thousand feet. The team members descended on the parade ground, forming the Victory Formation and three Parachute Formations.
Subsequently, the soldiers led by parade commander Sameer marched the parade. The Air Force Band performed the song Saare Jahan Se Achcha. At the same time, everyone saluted Nisha Toli.
Then three Mi-17 helicopters and five Dhruv helicopters marched with the flag of the Air Force. In the middle of the program, suddenly the trains of Garuda commandos started running.
An intruder also ran towards the Air Force chief’s stage. Within a few moments, the team of Garuda commandos caught the intruder. Everybody was shocked by this sudden drill.
People welcomed Chinook with applause
The air show began with a flight of Chinook helicopters. One helicopter appeared carrying the container and the other carrying a cannon. The people present at the rehearsal welcomed the Chinook by clapping.
The three C-130J aircraft then marched past the Hercules Formation. Then a Globemaster and four Sukhoi planes marched past. Five Sukhoi planes made the Victory Formation thrill everyone. At the same time, Apache helicopters also marched and saluted the people.
The noise made by Rafael, Tejas, and Sukhoi
During the rehearsal, Rafael, Tejas, and Sukhoi-30 MKI aircraft were seen performing acrobatics in the sky simultaneously.
As soon as Rafael and Tejas arrived, people made noise and welcomed them. At the same time, Sukhoi’s Vertical Charlie Manover also attracted people by performing tricks.
Surya Kiran and Sarang team showed their tricks
While flying hawks, the Suryakiran team performed feats by creating formations like Victory, Hercules, Surya Kiran.
As the Sarang helicopters performed the Dolphin Leap and the Sarang Split along with other acrobats, the entire parade echoed with a roar of ground applause.
The skyline tricks of vintage aircraft TigerMoth and Dakota also got the audience exposed to the power of the Air Force.
88 created in the sky with smoke
The full dress rehearsal of the 88th Air Force Day celebrations was concluded by the Suryakikaran team making 88 with smoke in the sky. Also, Air Force personnel sang the national anthem.
Rafael stayed in the center of the planes displayed in the display on the parade ground. People appeared to be photographed with Rafael and taking selfies.
Apart from this, aircraft and missile systems, Chinook helicopters, Sukhoi, Mirage, MiG-29, Apache helicopters, Mi-17, Tejas, Rafael, and C-130J Super Hercules aircraft also appeared in the display.
Corona’s effect
Every year around 17 thousand people used to come to see Air Force Day celebrations and rehearsals. Due to the Corona epidemic, only three thousand people will be allowed to attend the ceremony.
All these will be family members and VIPs of the airmen. During rehearsals, chairs were placed far apart to follow the physical distance.
