Sabalenka Wins The Third Consecutive Title
Sabalenka wins the third consecutive title, wins Abu Dhabi open tennis tournament. Belarus’ fourth seed Aryana Sabalenka defeated Veronika Kudermetova 6-2 6-2 in the Abu Dhabi Open Tennis Final here on Wednesday to clinch her third consecutive Tour title. He also won the 15th match in a row.
Sabalenka won two indoor tournaments at the end of last season in Ostrava and Lynge. She lost in the fourth round of the French Open in October.
With this title, Sabalenka will move up three places to seventh in the rankings. The WTA held a hastily contested tournament in Abu Dhabi to give players match time following the Australian Open’s decision in February due to the coronavirus.
Sabalenka and Kudermetova will now leave for Australia, where they will be in Quarantine, which will also provide limited practice opportunities before the Australian Open and will host warm-up tournaments for the players.
