SBI And IOC Launch Co-Branded Rupees Debit Card
SBI and Indian Oil Corporation launch co-branded Rupees debit card will get so much benefit by refueling at petrol pumps.
State Bank of India (SBI) and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on Thursday introduced a contactless co-branded RuPay debit card. Customers from across the country can take this card by going to the local SBI branch.
The statement from the bank stated that it is a contactless card and up to Rs 5,000 can be paid with “tap”.
According to SBI Chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara, “We believe that this co-branded card with tap and pay technology will bring many attractive benefits. Cardholders will have a good experience buying fuel.
He said that this card is safe and convenient so that it will make the daily purchases of card customers easy by payment.
With this card, if customers buy fuel from Indian Oil’s petrol pumps, then the cardholders will get 0.75 percent loyalty points. There is no limit on the monthly purchase of fuel through the card.
JCB Platinum Contactless Debit Card
It may be noted that SBI had recently launched SBI Rupees JCB Platinum Contactless Debit Card.
According to the bank, through the unique dual interface feature of this card, customers will be able to conduct both contact and contactless transactions.
Customers can use this new debit card in the domestic market as well as in foreign transactions. This card also provides an offline wallet facility to customers.
The card was launched by SBI in collaboration with JCB on the RuPay network. The special thing is that under the JCB network, customers can use this card for transactions at ATMs and POS terminals worldwide.
The tap and pay technology of this card will help people in everyday shopping. They will be able to make contactless payments safely. Customers can easily transact at locations like Metro or in markets through the card’s offline wallet.
