Shikhar Dhawan Reaches The New Summit In IPL

Shikhar Dhawan reaches the new summit in IPL, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Suresh Raina left behind together. Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan played brilliant innings for his team in the 30th match of IPL against Kings XI Punjab.

Shikhar’s innings came out when two batsmen of the team were dismissed for just 10 runs. Opener Prithvi Shaw was dismissed without opening the account while Ajinkya Rahane came in at number three and scored just two runs and lost his wicket.

Shikhar then handled the innings with captain Shreyas Iyer and strengthened the team’s position by sharing 85 runs for the third wicket.

However, when Shikhar Dhawan scored 53 runs, he was caught by Karthik Tyagi off Shreyas Gopal. He scored these scores with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes facing 43 balls.

His strike rate was 123.26. This was Shikhar Dhawan’s 39th half-century in this league.

Now in IPL, Indian batsmen have become the batsmen who have scored the most fifties. They left behind Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Suresh Raina together. All three have 38–38 half-centuries in IPL so far.
