DRG (District Reserve Guard) jawan Santu Dhruv was killed in an encounter between police and Naxalites in the jungles of Abujhmad in Narayanpur district in Chhattisgarh.
Another jawan has also been shot. On the other hand, police in the Dantewada district has been successful in arresting two Naxalites involved in the Cholanar blast. Seven police personnel were killed in this attack.
On Saturday morning, the DRG and the district force were returning to the Orchha police station when the Naxalites ambushed in Durgipara of Gudri Panchayat started firing by detonating the IED.
The soldiers also took charge. Naxalites fled after about 45 minutes of firing.

In this incident, DRG jawan Santu was shot in the thigh. He was taken to the Community Health Center in Orchha, where he stopped breathing due to excessive bleeding.
The martyred soldier was given a final salute at the Shaheed memorial on the police line. He was then cremated at the local Muktidham.
Santu surrendered two years ago and was actively participating in the campaign against the Naxalites.
SP Mohit Garg said that blood spread on the spot is expected to have injured five-six Naxalites, who were successful in carrying their companions.
Naxalites killed in the martyrdom of seven soldiers
The police in Dantewada on Saturday morning laid siege and arrested Joga Kunjam and Hurra Madakami of Hiroli Sarpanchpara.
During interrogation, both of them said that both were included in the organization in the year 2012 by Malangir Area Commander Kamlesh.
In 2014, an anti-land mines vehicle was blown up in Khutiyapal of Cholnar and Perpapara in Cholnar in 2018. Seven police personnel were martyred in this incident.
