On the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, Permanent Representative TS Tirumurthy has stated that India will always continue to play its role in world peace and development.

The Empire State is illuminated in blue this evening, congratulating the UN on its 75th-year lump. But, the UN is getting gray which means it is completing its 75 years.

Milestones around the world were lit in blue to mark the day. The United Nations tweeted and wrote: From New York to Dubai, from Petra to Vienna, the U.N. turns 75, with places around the world turning blue for Saturday.

The United Nations came into existence on 24 October 1945, when the charter was ratified by a permanent five members and most other signatories. United Nations Day is observed every year on 24 October.

Meanwhile, a Missing journalist of Geo News returned home in Pakistan, Imran had footage of Safdar’s arrest.

The missing journalist of Geo News in Pakistan has returned to his home in Karachi on Saturday evening after 22 hours. Imran Syed serves as Senior Correspondent at Geo News.

He had footage of the arrest of Safdar Awan, son-in-law of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

According to Geo News, Syed made contact with his wife on the phone after the mother reached home. He tells them that they have returned safely and that they have not been physically harmed.

Syed visited a bakery near his house on Friday evening. He did not return home after that. They left the house in 30 minutes, asking to return. Police said that the CCTV of the scene has been confiscated and the matter is being investigated.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has instructed Sindh Police Inspector General Mushtaq Mahar to ensure the safety of the journalist.

Murad Ali Shah quoted Geo News as saying that such action against journalists is unbearable. I want a progress report on the Syed case every hour.
