Syria’s Idlib Region Has Been Attacked Nine Times
Syria’s Idlib region has been attacked nine times in the last 24 hours: Russia’s Reconciliation Center.
Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation Between Warfare Organizations in Syria.
He told a briefing that the Jabat al-Nusra terrorist group has opened fire nine times in Syria’s Idlib de-escalation zone in the past 24 hours.
Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit said, “Nine shelling incidents were reported from the Jabat al-Nusra terrorist group site in the Idlib de-escalation zone in the past one day.”
“Five attacks were recorded in Aleppo province and four in Idlib,” he said.
Rear Admiral Kulit said a Syrian soldier was wounded in machine-gun fire by militants at government troops’ positions in the province of Aleppo.
The Russian Defense Ministry’s Center for Reconciliation and Control over the Movement of Refugees in the Syrian Arab Republic was established in February 2016.
Its functions include the signing of agreements on the coordination of the distribution of humanitarian aid as well as individual settlements involved in the regime of cessation of hostilities.
Syria’s Idlib region has been attacked nine times in the last 24 hours: Afghan Foreign Minister Muttaki is on a three-day visit to Pakistan.
Afghanistan’s acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi is on a visit to Pakistan from Wednesday.
Foreign Minister Muttaki has come to Islamabad to renew relations between the two countries after the Taliban took control of Afghan power in August.
He was received at Nur Khan Airbase by Finance Advisor Abdul Razak Dawood, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq, and senior officials.
Shakib Ahmed, the representative of the Taliban at the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad, was also present on the occasion.
Muttaki is here with a 20-member high-level delegation that includes Finance Minister Hidayatullah Badri, Industries and Trade Minister Nooruddin Aziz, and senior officials of the Aviation Ministry.
The delegation will discuss ways to enhance ties between the two countries, expand the economy, facilities for the movement of refugees and people.
The meeting is to be held in Islamabad on Thursday, November 11.
