Former Terrorist, 3 People Including Govt Employee Arrested

Former terrorist, three people including government employee arrested in Budgam, Rivalsar-magazine recovered: Militancy in Kashmir.

In Budgam, the security forces have arrested three people, including a government worker. A revolver and a magazine of assault rifle have also been recovered from his possession.

Three people arrested include a former terrorist, a government employee. It was reported to the police that these three are working as overground workers for the terrorist organizations. All three are being questioned.

According to the information received from the police, on the basis of information received from reliable sources, during the operation conducted by the team of 53 RR of Army and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police, three people were arrested from District Budgam in Central Kashmir.

All three are relatives while one is an employee of the education department. Security forces were informed that all three are related to the terrorist organization.

The arrested people have been identified as Bashir Ahmed Shah, Faisal Farooq, and Inamul Haque.

Faisal and Inam-ul-Haq Haq are both residents of Chattabal in Srinagar while Bashir Ahmad Shah is a resident of Arigam in the Budgam district. Bashir Ahmed Shah is an employee of the Education Department.

Police said that Bashir Ahmed Shah has been a former terrorist. He was informed that Bashir is still associated with terrorist organizations.

A revolver and a magazine have also been recovered from him in the search conducted by the police on the basis of questioning.

Although both were at war. The police have registered a case against the trio at Police Station Khansahab. Inquiries are still on.
