Target Killing: Conspiracy of target killing failed in Kashmir, two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were caught with weapons.
Security forces arrested two Lashkar terrorists who had come from the summer capital Srinagar to Baramulla in North Kashmir to carry out attacks on security forces and target killings.
Due to this a big conspiracy of target killing has failed. Both the arrested terrorists have already been caught in connection with stone pelting and terrorist activities.
Police spokesman said that in the morning itself, the police in Baramulla came to know from their system that two Lashkar terrorists have reached Rafiabad from Srinagar.
Apart from attacking any VIP and security forces, they have come to target the killing of Panchayat representatives.
To nab these two, the police along with the soldiers of the 32 RR of the Army and the 92nd Corps of the CRPF put up blockades at certain places.
The Naka party started searching the road on the outskirts of Hadipora village. During this, two people were seen running towards a garden. The Naka party immediately followed him and challenged him.
The terrorists running into the garden, seeing the soldiers coming after them, took out their pistols and tried to fire at them.
The jawans, while defending themselves, caught both the terrorists and also recovered two pistols, two magazines, and 11 cartridges from them.
Both these terrorists have been identified as Tariq Ahmed Wani and Ishfaq Ahmed Wani. Both of them are residents of Old Air Field Rangreth in Srinagar.
During interrogation, it was revealed that the two were not only in constant contact with the Lashkar terrorists operating in Budgam and Srinagar but also with the terrorists sitting in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir through internet media.
The interrogation of both is on. Some important information is expected to be found in the inquiry.
