Elon Musk’s company Tesla may introduce new AMD Ryzen chips and 12V lithium-ion batteries in some of its upcoming electric cars.

According to the auto-tech website Electrek, a recent leak revealed that the new Model 3 and Model Y vehicles will come with the new AMD Ryzen chip powering the media computers in the new Model S and Model X, and Model Y.

The report said that the lead-acid 12-volt battery will switch to a Li-ion battery system.
At the same time, the electric vehicle company has started production of the Model 3 and Model Y in the US with those changes.
What is an AMD chip-

Well, if we are talking about an electric car, then the new Ryzen AMD Ryzen chip will be introduced in Tesla’s new car, it does not require a dedicated graphics card like the 5000-series APU.
These chips combine the CPU and GPU into a single chip, whereas other CPUs require a dedicated video card to receive any graphical output from the system.
AMD’s APUs enable video output through a video connection to the motherboard. And some can handle even light gaming.
There is not a single electric vehicle in the portfolio of these vehicle companies in India.
