The Court Granted Bail To Bharti Singh And Harsh Limbachia
The court granted bail to Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachia, arrested in a drug case: Bharti Singh Granted Bail.
Famous comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya have been granted bail by the court. Both were arrested by the NCB in a drug case.
According to a tweet by a news agency, a special NDPS court in Mumbai has granted bail to comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachia.
In fact, recently the Narcotics Control Bureau raided the production office and house of Bharti and Harsh. After which NCB had recovered 86.5 grams of hemp from Bharti’s house.
When both were called to the office for questioning, both of them had admitted to consuming cannabis. After which NCB arrested him for consuming cannabis and sent him to judicial custody till 4 December.
However, Bharti and her husband had applied for bail in the court, which was heard today and both got bail. The NCB had earlier arrested Bharti Singh and after that, her husband was also taken into custody.
Before the hearing, Special Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande had said, “Today I am busy in another case, then we will request another date for the debate.”
How was the event?
The NCB first raided a place in the Khar Danda area and arrested a 21-year-old smuggler. During this time, 15 blots of LSD, several drugs including Ganja and Nitrazepam were recovered.
Also, based on some more input, NCB had raided the production office and house of comedian Bharti Singh.
Following this, a summons was issued to the couple from the NCB for questioning.
After the summons was issued, the couple reached the NCB office for questioning and were questioned by NCB officials for a long time.
The famous comedian was arrested on Saturday under the NDPS Act 1986. At the same time, NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede has said that allegations of consumption of drugs have been made against him.
