BJP state president said seats will be discussed in Tamil Nadu only after the date of elections.

Tamil Nadu BJP President L Murugan has said that the seat-sharing will be held only after the dates for the state assembly elections are announced.

Asked whether the BJP was seeking 50 seats from the ruling AIADMK, Murugan said that two days ago, Palaniswamy and O Panneerselvam, the party’s top leaders, issued a statement saying the alliance would be retained.

He said that the seats would be decided only after talks with the coalition partner.

Murugan along with Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan attended the Bhumipujan ceremony of the new office of the BJP.

This office will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore. The two leaders reached Palani on Monday evening in connection with the Vail Yatra.

Regarding the yatra, Murugan said that it will be concluded on December 5 instead of December 7.

President Kovind to offer prayers in Air India One’s first flight to Chennai in Tirupati
