The Reality Of The Ceasefire: Pakistan Is Not Trustworthy
The reality of the ceasefire: Pakistan has retracted many times from the promise, innocent civilians killed and martyred soldiers killed.
The United States and the United Nations have expressed appreciation for the declaration of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
Given Pakistan’s poor experiences of extremism, infiltration, and ceasefire violations, the question arises as to how long its ceasefire promise will last.
Actually, Pakistan infiltrates terrorists in the country under the cover of firing on the outskirts. If Pakistan stops the infiltration, further negotiations between the two countries may begin.
But its biggest challenge is to stay on the ceasefire of the neighboring country. This is where Pakistan’s words and actions will be tested.
When did the ceasefire start between the two countries? Is the Pakistani government really serious about the ceasefire?
The reality of the ceasefire: The agreement was signed between the two countries in 2003.

Pakistan began firing incidents on the outskirts in 2007. Once again in 2013 and 2018, there were talks between the two countries regarding the ceasefire. There was no concrete result of this dialogue.
There have been 5133 cases of ceasefire violations on the border of Jammu and Kashmir in 2020. The ceasefire violation in 2019 is 47.5 percent more than the 3479 incidents.
There were 2936 incidents of ceasefire violations in the year 2018. 61 security forces and civilians were killed in it. There were 971 ceasefire incidents in the year 2017.
In this, 12 common citizens were killed along with 19 security forces.
