Tight Security Arrangements Are Being Done In Kashmir

Tight security arrangements are being done in Kashmir on Republic Day, drone surveillance is being done: IGP Kashmir.

All security arrangements have been made so that the Republic Day celebrations can be celebrated peacefully in Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF personnel are working together to ensure that no anti-national elements can disturb the Republic Day celebrations in Srinagar and other districts of the Valley.

Security has been beefed up in all district headquarters.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar informed the journalists during a press conference in the Valley on Monday.

The IGP said that joint teams of police, army, and CRPF are keeping a close watch in all the district headquarters including Srinagar for the last one week.

Drones are being monitored in sensitive areas. Mock drills have also been done many times. Tight security arrangements are in place.

The IGP once again instructed all the station in-charges not to do anything negligent regarding the safety of the people.

Maintain proper security arrangements in the areas under your control. Wherever celebrations and programs are to be organized on Republic Day, ensure security deployment.

Any kind of carelessness can become a danger to the lives of the common people.

The IGP also informed that all sensitive areas have been covered. We will ensure peaceful Republic Day in Srinagar and all district headquarters.

Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir PK Pol said that all preparations have been made for the parade to be organized on Republic Day.

Today he presided over the full-dress rehearsal and reviewed every arrangement.

As far as security arrangements are concerned, there is no problem as police and other security forces including CRPF have been reviewing the area for the past one week.

The administration has allowed only those employees, officers, and common people to participate in the Republic Day celebrations, whose vaccination has been completed.
