Security forces on Monday foiled another conspiracy by terrorists to disrupt the Amarnath Yatra.
Security forces gunned down a terrorist belonging to a group of infiltrators at Nowshera along the Line of Control in Rajouri district.
The body of the terrorist has been recovered from near the LoC. One to two injured have also been injured in the retaliatory action of the security forces who fled towards Pakistan after saving their lives.
Army personnel have cordoned off the entire area and started the search operation. At the same time, the army’s search was going on till late at night.
This attempt to infiltrate terrorists from Pakistan has taken place in the Jhangar sector of Nowshera. A group of three to four terrorists tried to infiltrate this sector on Monday morning.

As soon as the terrorists tried to set foot in the Indian territory, the army personnel challenged them and asked them to lay down their arms.
On this, the terrorists started firing on the army personnel. Army soldiers also retaliated while handling the front. In this, a terrorist got killed on the LoC itself.
One to two terrorists have also been injured in the retaliatory action of the army. Afraid of the death of one of their companions, the rest of the terrorists also ran towards Pakistan after saving their lives.
Despite this, army personnel cordoned off the entire area and started a massive search operation. If any terrorist entered Indian territory, he will be killed.
