Xiaomi Was Selling Smartphones By Making False Claim

Xiaomi was selling the phone to customers by making a false claim, the company was fined heavily.

Xiaomi is the number 1 smartphone brand in India. It is also included in the world’s leading tech companies. In China away from India, Xiaomi has been fined for fraud from customers.

In fact, Xiaomi has been found guilty of selling the phone by making a false claim. Xiaomi has been fined more than Rs 2.5 lakh in this case.

Gizmochina has been quoted by ITHome as saying that the People’s Republic of China’s Market Supervision Department has found the company guilty of violating the advertising law.

Allegations of fraud from customers.

It is alleged that Xiaomi ran an advertisement for its mobile phone Redmi K30 5G on a shopping site named Tmall.

In this promotion advertisement, it has been claimed that the Samsung company’s AMOLED display has been given in the Redmi K30 5G smartphone.

But in reality, instead of the Redmi K30 5G smartphone Amoled, the LCD display panel was given. Xiaomi has accepted its mistake in the matter. It has also been termed as a human error.

Specifications of Redmi K30 5G.

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G smartphone has a 6.67-inch FHD + display. Whose screen resolution are 1080×2400 pixels. The phone comes in a punch-hole design.

The phone has an LCD panel. This is an Android 11 based smartphone. The phone works on the Octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset.

Redmi K30 5G smartphone comes with quad rear camera support. 64-megapixel primary camera has been given on the rear panel of the phone.

Also, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel macro lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor are available. The phone comes with dual front cameras of 20 megapixels and 2 megapixels.

A 4,500mAh battery is provided in the phone, in which 30W fast charging support is available.
